OperCove ("OperCove", "we", "us", or "our") provides field-service management software for pest control and other service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to our website, our product (the "Service"), and related communications.

- Account and profile information — name, email address, phone number, company name, role, and login credentials when you create or manage an account.
- Customer and business records you enter — the data you choose to store in the Service, such as your customers' names and contact details, job and appointment records, routes, photos, reports, invoices, and chemical/application logs.
- Support and communications — information you send us when you request a demo, contact support, or respond to surveys.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You control the records stored in your own workspace and can export or delete them at any time. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data in accordance with our retention schedule, unless we must retain it to meet legal requirements.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and tenant isolation to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to safeguard your credentials.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations;

9. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you within the Service or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
